What did you learn through this project? Explain what and how.
I learned a lot about vaping since my art piece was based on vaping and it's effects. I also learned a lot about different topics, perception and how we can view different things in a different perspective. One of a groups projects help me learn how far or how much different people can be then what there actually showing us. I also learned about how, every day we are being censored from different hings and information. We don't realize it because were being taught to think this way or think another way.
What project did you create? Why did you choose this project? Are you glad you created this product after seeing the final products at exhibition?
I helped create an agamograph with two different cities one happy and cartoon like city which we all wish to live in, and the other city is a dark kind of smoky city to represent the nicotine/vaping addiction. We wanted to do something related to teen addiction, but something relevant right now. Which is vaping because a lot of are vaping right now even though they know there are negative effects. I am glad that I helped create this project because there wasn't a project that was similar to ours I feel like our project was actually unique to us and to everyone else. A lot of final projects at the exhibition were similar like they were about the same topic. Like they were about people wearing a "mask" and not showing who they really are, and what there really thinking about.
Do you feel proud of your overall participation at exhibition and your final product? Explain why and how. What could you have improved on?
I do feel proud of how much I participated at exhibition and while working on my final product. I feel like I could've went above and beyond to really get that A+. The amount of effort I put in is probably the same amount needed to get a passing grade for example an B+. Some things I could've improved on is having bravery. Sometimes when I needed to get something or be somewhere I waited until one of my group members went with me.
Look at the oral communication rubric. Explain how you think you did with oral communication during exhibition.
While explaining my project I never got off task or talked about something that wasn't relevant to my project. I also never talked too fast or too slow while explaining my project. I first explained it to my dad and asked for critique and he said that I was talking at a good pace, I just needed to talk a little louder. I talked loud enough after that cause nobody asked me "say that again" or "what was that" while I was talking. They also responded to everything I said or commented. So I think the audience was able to hear me quite well. I made eye contact to the people I was talking to. I did sway a little while I was talking. I dressed professionally for the exhibition. I didn't talk I didn't want to be there, I talked like I did want to be there. I never talked in a monotone kind of voice.
